A playful, hands-on laboratory with Carlos García Estévez, exploring Contemporary Commedia dell’Arte through mask, body, and movement.

The mask becomes a space of freedom — a tool that awakens imagination and allows different parts of the self to appear without judgment. Through improvisation and play, we work with presence, physical expression, and connection with others and with the audience.

During the workshop, we will explore: •⁠ ⁠sensory and physical exercises •⁠ ⁠basic emotions and their embodiment •⁠ ⁠movement and awareness in space •⁠ ⁠connection with the audience •⁠ ⁠foundations of improvisation •⁠ ⁠rhythm, timing, and play •⁠ ⁠the birth of characters through the mask

This workshop is open to professional performers and to anyone interested in embodiment and self-exploration.

No previous experience is needed — only curiosity and a willingness to play.
