What is TransPoetico?
TransPoetico is Manifesto Poetico's approach to collaborative theatrical creation.
A theatre, festival, academy or cultural organization brings a context, a community, a group of artists or a question. Manifesto Poetico enters that context and develops an original performance together with the local team.
The result is not a production imported from elsewhere. It is a new theatrical language developed from the people, place and circumstances of the project.

The TransPoetico Process
RESEARCH
We enter the local context and investigate its stories, tensions, spaces and realities.
LISTEN
We work with local artists and communities to understand how they see and experience their world.
DEVELOP
Manifesto Poetico introduces its tools — Spatial Dramaturgy, movement, structure, rhythm, gesture and imagination.
CREATE
The group develops a shared theatrical vocabulary and composes the production together.
SHARE
The new work meets its audience — and can continue beyond the original context through performance and touring.
We begin by listening
Before creating, we investigate the reality in which the work will emerge: its people, stories, spaces, behaviours, tensions and dreams.
This research becomes material for the theatrical creation.

Each project begins somewhere specific. A place, a community, a conflict, a celebration, a memory.
Through the creative process, the specific can reveal something universal.
