Manifesto Poetico’s Codigo Artista is a personalized research process designed to help creators develop their own creative system, language, and artistic vision through guided sessions.
The program focuses on transforming the creative process into clear and sustainable artistic decisions. It is geared toward both alumni and emerging artists seeking to define their own artistic voice.
DESIGN YOUR CREATIVE SYSTEM - BUILD YOUR OWN VOICE - DEVELOP YOUR OWN CRITERIA
The Evolution of the Laboratory
Beyond pedagogy and production, Manifesto Poetico places its experience at the service of creators through direct dialogue. This space creates a natural evolution toward deep and personalized research processes. It is not traditional training; it is an accompanied path.
The Focus of the Work
This is a space for listening and building to discover the internal system from which you create. The goal is not to fit into a format, but to consolidate an artistic practice that is born from within and is sustained over time.
A Research Encounter
We place nearly 30 years of practice in creating scenic languages at the service of your own research. Without relying on standardized formats or dogmatic systems, we nurture a process that unlocks your boundless creative resources.
Formula-free: Building your own system, rejecting universal methods.
No rushing: Focus on the depth of the process, away from quick or commercial results.
Limitless: Opening up to new perspectives and unforeseen paths in your work.
Actor, stage director, pedagogue, and researcher with more than 25 years of professional trajectory. Founder and artistic director of Manifesto Poetico, he trained for three years with Jacques Lecoq in Paris, where he collaborated for a decade as a pedagogue and associate artist at the Laboratory for the Study of Movement (LEM).
He has developed productions and pedagogical laboratories in more than 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia, and in more than 45 universities worldwide. From an artistic-anthropological approach, his practice focuses on the research of conceptual rigor, the structure of artistic language, and the co-creation of new scenic languages applied to both contemporary international productions and projects with hospital clowns, First Nations communities and indigenous reservations in North America, as well as communities in contexts of vulnerability or social exclusion, among others.
In CÓDIGO ARTISTA, he pours this international background into an individual laboratory or a personalized ONE-ON-ONE process. Being such a specific and tailored journey, it is available to creators who already know his trajectory and have previously trained with Manifesto Poetico, serving as a direct mentorship to investigate and mature their own artistic language.
What we work on
Identity: Defining who you are as a creator outside of external expectations.
Artistic Criteria: Developing the autonomy to make firm and coherent decisions.
Language: Consolidating a recognizable and honest form of expression.
The 5 Elements of the Code
We make visible and useful the structure that already operates within your creation through five concepts:
Origin: The birth of your creative impulse.
Intention: The real objective of your search.
Criteria: The mechanism behind your decisions.
Language: The materialization of your discourse.
Coherence: The sustainability of your practice over time.
The program is open both to creators who have already trained with Manifesto Poetico and to new artists wishing to enter into a dialogue with the Laboratory. If you have not previously worked with us, you can request an initial conversation to mutually assess our potential collaboration.
The Work Includes:
